Spring is coming and I've managed to get out and do some yard work!! The sun felt so nice.
I am currently working on a calendar for my Mom's Auer Family Boat House. I've now got all my ducks in a row - or my months. :) Mom has a friend who supplied the last two photographs for me to work from. The first is of my uncle fixing one of the docks later in the day. The second is of the sweet but lately deceased beagles, Ben and Bridgette. I decided that I would put them in doggie heaven so I took some liberties with the photo. I also included where I started so that you could see my progress. This is in Burlington, Vermont on Lake Champlain.
The snow is melting!!!!!

Wow Kath, that first composition is amazing, but I definitely have a thing about dogs, so the beagles are my favourite! Love the luscious paint marks.

Hi Liz:
ReplyDeleteIt is always a pleasure to visit and be visited by you. I did have more fun painting the beagles. They were the cutest dogs.
This is obviously a labor of love. Lucky mother. Love the beagles are delightful. The first painting is great too. Lots of movement and interest.

Hi Jean:
ReplyDeleteIt was nice to do something different. The beagles were like doing one of those 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles. :)
