Four paintings in May

Hello everyone:
Where does the time go? Spring is racing away and we are already into June. I've posted four of my new paintings. The first one, "Peonies 2010" was done in a day from the lovely peonies growing everywhere in my garden. To paint them with their perfume all around me is heaven. The second painting, "Rocks and Grape Hyacinths" is from a photo I've been debating about for some time now. I want to do more like this. It's chaos was great fun to paint. The last two,"Adirondack Chair on the Deck" and "Another Red Chair" are perhaps some psychological need for pain. Why chairs? I never know. Something about them intrigued me so - chairs.
